NAD: Mesa Combo Day!!!

So…I was on a christmas vacation last week and had to travel through a big city along the way. I was all excited because my city only has a small little L&M that gets very little stock, and I don't very much enjoy going there because I always end up just leaving (disappointed in their selection!). So, in short, I was very excited to visit some other stores!! I had a little bit of money saved up after selling my Kemper and taking care of some tuition funds so I was really itching to hear my guitars amplified again!

So, I walk into the only L&M there and after ogling the Mark V combo they had brand new, I see this little guy in the corner. Amazing condition. Just a slight crack in the tolex on one edge. Although it's not the same thing as a Mark V, I got it for about half of the price of a new one so I can't say I'm too upset. It's a great combo…ungodly loud. Pretty damn good all around. The clean channel is quite good, and channels 2 and 3 can get into metal territory just fine. The only way I will sell this bad boy is to fund an Axe II or a Mark V combo!

personally i'd keep a mark IV over a V

i know a couple of people who've sold their V's for IV's

That's a beauty! Even though I love my Mark V, I still kinda want all the amps in its lineage Hell, if a .50 Caliber + pops up on Craigslist I'm gonna jump on it. Cheers!
