NAD + NCD (New Cat Day)

I traded my Traynor YCS100 for a Ibanez Thermion.

LIGHTS! (for some reason, the LEDs on my HD147 flicker and go dim, again...)

So far it has been great, the sound is immense, huge, ballsy and clear.
The effects loop is awesome on this as it is very tweakable (compared to the Traynor's non-existent effects loop)

I am taking it to practice tomorrow and want to get a SM57 and Apogee One to record with this (ala Fearedse)


Also got a cat, his name is Lester, and he QC'd my Ibanez.

That's a cute cat, but any mangy furballs get on my amp and shed all over the fucking place is gonna be a dead cat. Which is why my two cats whine and beg at my door occasionally, because I won't let them in. At least one of them likes to jump ontop of a fucking fullstack, to lay on my VHT Sig:X.

They don't. They discontinued them recently I think, but I believe they were cheaper than 6505s.

List price was $1,466.65 (2007) but I have been hunting one down and have seen some great steal prices on it.

Nice score! Those are actually awesome amps. My only gripe with my old TN120 was the Nile-ish pinch harmonics, but if you can ignore that (which I couldn't), those amps can get an absolutely crushing tone w/ a boost in front.
