NAD: PRS Archon 100

Yes, lots of other NAD for this, but this one is mine...and oh my...

This thing sounds massive...I mean just massive, even at Bedroom levels. The master is so sweet.

Granted, I may think this because this is my first non-lunchbox based head.

Still, it really is idiot proof- difficult to dial a bad tone. Also, trying different combos for gain- no boost, and the I have three boost to try (a Precision Drive, an OD808 and a TS-9 DX)

Now I need to replace my Engl Pro 1x12 with a 2x12.

HNAD These are seriously incredible sounding amps. Nice choice for your first 100, and yeah going from a 1x12 to a 2x12 will add a nice depth and width to the sound. Post some thoughts on your boost pedal trials once you’ve tried them all.

And yes, a 100w is in a whole other league in the punch/depth/girth department.

What settings are you running currently? I’ve got my go to Recto-ish settings that I usually default to, but I always like trying out other settings too.
