New amp build - Modded Robinette JCM800 EF80 + switchable mods

So, initial (bad) recording of the cab. It's late so I'll crank it at some point later this week and also I've been messing with the truss rod on the guitar.



I'm impressed by the 2W bass and volume. There's a little control/farting at full bass but this the first sound out of the cab.

After this is put together completely, the amp updates are done and I'll start looking at optimising.

Earlier in the day, this was the layout check:

Measured the Max loudness ... seems to be 99.1dB but if I give it a windmill I can get 100dB. That seems good enough

I still need to put a front grill cloth, tolex and some shielding on the cab. I also have the updates and components I need to order for the amp too.
