Less than two months ago I placed my order for my very own .strandberg* Boden 7 in space blue, and today it arrived.
Since most of you guys know .Strandberg* I'll skip most of the chat and tell you what I think about this guitar.

Tone:
The tone of this thing is killer the Lace X-Bars suit it perfectly. It has a huge sound that I haven't gotten before. Although my patches did need some tweaking but that just has to do with new pickups.
All and all the tone of this thing is great.

Build Quality/Finish:
Now I've seen people on here get their .strandberg* in not so flawless condition, and that is upsetting. Mine came in perfect condition. The fret ends are not sticking out so they cut you when your hand is moving up the neck. There are no flaws in the finish, are is a very nice blue.

Playability
This is by far the best guitar I've owned and played. The endure neck profile is very comfortable and I enjoy playing this guitar. This is one of the easiest guitars to play, and I've owned JP's, Prs', etc.

So now with out further adieu here is my Boden 7.

I've really been GASing for one of these lately. I signed up for the mailing wait list. How long were you on the list before they offered you a spot?

HNGD man! This is one of the few Boden's I actually like the look of. Hope it plays as good as it looks!

It took about two weeks, so not very long.

haha, so funny, I actually just got the email last night and I'm going to place my order here in the next few minutes. I just cannot decide on what color I want. I like the pic of the new emerald green they sent out (though in older pics of the green ones I think it looked like shit so I'm VERY weary of that) I like the brown over black and then the Sunflare black/red/yellow. I just wish I could actually see them on a finished guitar somewhere. Makes it so much harder :(

Love that space blue on yours, looks great.

The older green pics showed other finishes, emerald green was not an option until recently.
As the guitar is done, it should ship soon and I'll provide some "real life" pics; I'm just waiting to pay the balance any day now.

Actually when I got to that point on the order page Emerald Green wasn't even an option. I went with brown over black....but now I'm kind of wanting to change it to the RedRum. I did that like 3 hours ago, but still haven't received the invoice to pay for it. It said it was going to be sent shortly thereafter ordering...

Get in contact and ask for it, that can't hurt.

My original order was in 2013, when they had different finish options. I chose "green/yellow/black". Then AES screwed up my order (on several levels) so I had to order again in August and go with a 2014 finish - Green Lava; I'd never seen a sample though.
So in mid September Ola told me that they finally had samples and more finish options and I opted for Emerald Green as this is spot on to what I pictured.

ON TOPIC:
Great top and finish alike. Can't wait for mine (Boden8) to get here. HNGD! :)

HNGD!

That's a beautiful guitar! So glad these guitars are coming out as flawless as they should be at last.
