Pics first:
I was saving to buy a Musicman jp 7 string, and this badboy popped up on eBay at an unbelievable price. So I bought it in an adrenaline rush.
Experience:
I'll be honest. I didn't notice that much of a difference when I picked it up and started playing. It was nice and smooth but nothing ground breaking. After an hour, thinking how I may have saved thousands by controlling my GAS, I picked my trusted Rg7620.
Thats when it hit me, the RG wasn't good anymore. It felt sluggish, frets were not smooth. The tone just wasn't fluid.
What musicman and JP have done is built a guitar thats as easy to play as physically possible. Your notes just fly off the smooth ebony fretboard and every component screams quality. This is easily the best guitar I've ever played.
