This little baby came in the mail this morning when i woke up. I was worried about the shipping by FedEx. But it turns out that there was not a single flaw with the guitar, it plays beautifully. :yesway:

It's a Douglas Grendel 725 Natural finish. I heard mixed reviews about it and honestly i was worried about buying it, but my worries disappeared when i started playing it. It only took 3 days. I ordered it on Wendsday. :)

A lot better than expected when I read Douglas.
Body color looks nice, and the heel looks suprisingly comfortable. HNGD!

im glad you're enjoying yours. that mahogany looks pretty good, especially for being on a $150 instrument! have you looked closely at the nut? in the past, they appeared to be plastic that was painted black.

This is great news to hear! Because I've been thinking about getting back into 7 strings for some time now, but I dont want to blow a bunch of money. (Incase I dont like it, like my rg7321) The $175 price tag is perfect for me. But the reviews scared me off. After seeing this I may reconsider..

Looks cool. i plan to order a 6 string actually. for $99, you can't get a better deal. And did you say yours got to you in 3 days with standard shipping? Do you happen to know where they ship from?

That nut looks better, mine was an abomination. I got one of the better ones last spring, sold it in a pinch and miss it. Sounded great with a Blackout in it. Only thing is the stock electronics were a noisy mess, and tuners were horrible, and the frets were sharp on the bottom. But I knew I was buying it for wood pretty much. Wish my scope had that neck joint.

hey, I got the 6 string one just a couple weeks ago. I like it so far. The first thing I'd like to change, besides the pickups themselves would be the tuners as they seem to go out of tune more often. But great build and great quality for the price.

Also forgot to mention that the guitar sounds great acoustically...unplugged. :) For $120 shipped, it can't be beat.
