Been a while since I posted everything that I have done to my rig. With college and work I couldn't exactly keep up with 4 guitars, so I wanted to slim down. Traded a few things away and ended up with what I have now. Very happy.
First I traded my old ibanez premium for a Jackson dk2m and a schecter hellraiser.Sold the hellraiser and kept the dk2m. Love this guitar, definitely one of the biggest bang for your buck guitars out there.
Then I decided that my Ltd needed a bit of a boost,so I got the new 57 66 set to throw in. I hated the 81 set that was in my old Ltd,but these were much better. Very passive sounding, but still have the awesome active low end tightness that I missed, which I remembered when I played that schecter with the blackouts.
The coolest part is the new amp, which is the orange Jim root terror. Seriously love this thing to death. Fits me so well as to the music I play. The Randall was great, but I felt like it was not for me. I think it was more for the modern dent stuff which is cool, but not for me. It is pretty versatile, and super responsive to eq which is something I like a lot,and the Randall was lacking IMO.
All I need now is a baritone or 7/8 and I'm set.![Shred :shred: :shred:](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/shredder.gif)
