Hello friends. Been gone for quite a while but family matters dictated little time for guitar things.
So since I foolishly let mine go I've been on a years long hunt for the perfect Hamer Californian preferably with a reverse headstock and boomerang inlays.
Meet the Edwards E-CY-165CTM , a division of ESP. Japanese made guitar. Basically the Hamer Californian's fine ass cousin. Gorgeous quilt top with abalone binding, Gotoh branded Floyd, 27 fret ebony fingerboard with ESP's take on the Tree Of Life for inlay, 7 piece walnut & hard maple neck and about half the price of a used Hamer Californian on the used market (which are anywhere from 3500 - 4000 USD)
Also picked up a Vola Ares at a really good price recently.
