You wouldn't happen to have a link to a NGD or something for that yellow singlecut would you? The flame on that is out of this world.

As a PRS man myself, I am green with envy. That is one sweet stable you've got going over there.

Awesome guitar and really nice collection! The two PRS single cuts seem quite rare models too.
The Dean might seem out of place but if it plays well it plays well ;).

Holy F, I didn't know what I was going to be looking at when I clicked on the thread, but I didn't expect that! What can you even say about it? One of the nicest 7 strings ever, by the looks of it. We now know that PRS needs to start offering a direct mount option for pickups - everybody should get on them about that, because it looks 10X better.

The amber fade on that singlecut though.

Also the fact that the burled top is a single piece and so damn consistent looking is insane.

Damn.
Not sure if I wouldn't take that blue PRS thingy in the middle, first.
Or maybe that brownish singlecut. Damn.

What's the weight on the 7 stringer?

This is absolutely stunning craftsmanship. Major congratulations! This might be the best guitar I've ever seen on this forum.

Man that PRS family is just stunning

Thanks Steve, I quite like the lineup I have right now, and they cover good ground sonically.

Seriously that's like $40k worth of guitars right there

I try not to think of it that way, as I cry a little inside when I think of other things I could have bought or used the money for . Though, out of the group 3 were bought new, the rest used. Definitely helps.

Jawdropping!

But seriously, where are those burl tuning pegs :p

The Burl tuner buttons are on back order right now. Should be here this week or the next :shred:.

The Dean does play well, and it has heavy sentimental value, so it will always be around.

*goes on to post a picture of $50,000 worth of guitars in the very next post*

:lol::lol:

You have such nice stuff dude - it's crazy

I understand I spent some money on gear, but I live frugally in other aspects of my life so it balances out :D. Also, as I mentioned above, it really helps buying used gear.

As far as the pickup rings, I'm a little 50/50. I do think the rings are a part of the PRS aesthetic, and I like the adjustability, but on 24 fret guitars it just looks so much better without them. The spacing gets close on the 24 fretters and my OCD kicks in the with the rings. On a singlecut 22 fret guitar though, I would never get it without the rings. I think singlecuts look weird without them .

The Sandstorm Singlecut is my usual favorite, but this 7 string is starting to take it's place. My scale is broken at the moment, but by my estimations it feels to be somewhere between 8-9 lbs.
