First posting is also an NGD! :D Got this baby today from a flat swap in a store :) gotta say, after owning it for not even 10 minutes I was flat out in love with it. Beautiful finish, is more a grey/green trans than black though ;) Will post more when I play it through my rig on monday! anymore photos, please do request and I'll be happy to oblige ^^

Wow, that neck looks really thin!

I am a standard Hellrasier C7 owner, for comparison.

Looks great! :shred:

Yeah my other guitarist has the standard c7 too! nice guitar but a bit too fat of a neck for me, this came out and I jumped on it because of the SLS neck :)

If my C8 Hellraiser Special had a longer scale length (it's an older 26.5" one), I honestly don't think I'd have looked any further. Even though I picked up an M80M, I stil can't bring myself to sell the Schecter - it's a kickarse guitar. The build quality on these things is pretty impressive.

I really love the heel carve.

Sexy and classy :agreed:
High-fret access heel, silky thinner C neck, 12"-16" compound board, seemingly wider nut and string spacing, pup switch can be operated for fast switchings and knobs allows pinky volume swells, classy looking pickups (don't know the tone, though).. Anything missing? nope, don't think so :yesway:

I feel tempted. Looking forward to some clips - please add some clean stuff on both pickups too ;)

What's the string-string center spacing between the two top strings?
Looks wider than what I have one my Riot 8 (which is problematically tight).

It is a little wider than standard hellraiser c7's, that or it's an optical illusion when mine and my other guitarists hellraiser c7 are next to each other.
The pickups are the 57-7/66-7 from EMG :) basically a tighter, more articulate and dynamic version of the emg (they went for the whole combine features of passives and actives thing again) So yes the tone is ....ing mental! haha

I'll see what I can do for you!!
string string center spacing?
