The folks at Cyan Worlds (Myst & Riven) are in the process of developing a new game called Obduction. The last 'big' game they made was Myst V back in '05. Since then they've been stuck in limbo releasing smaller games and various updates to their older games.
The only way this game is going to get off of the ground (in the near future anyway) is with their Kickstarter campaign. As of this writing, they have over $800k of their 1.1 million dollar goal (...that's one hell of a goal
) with 8 days left.
One thing I do find pretty cool is that all three Miller brothers (Rand, Robyn and Ryan) will be working on this if all goes well. I think this will be the first time they've worked together since Riven (if my memory serves me).
