I am an ableton live 7 user and I enjoy their string samples, but they all sound electronic and not authentic. Also i want some good brass and bass sections! I am trying to go for a sound like Ovid's Withering.

Anybody know where i can get some samples OR plugins that sound like the ones in this song? Free would be awesome, but if i have to pay to get quality like this I will!

The samples that come with Komplete are great. I think Komplete Elements If it still exists) gives you VSL strings and VSL brass.

These are basic samples, you can get out of a lot of free stuff. It's all in how you eq them. I used editor orchestral before upgrading and it would do the trick, but I don't know if it's for sale anymore. NI session strings ($99 one) would pull this off too.
