lol too much awesomeness

great to see you guys expanding your line with the production models more and more. Im currently GASing badly for the TX GTR Carbon in Blue mmmmmmm :) the only thing not sure is the single coil pup on the neck, as the angle is opposite to the fan, so more like "neck" pup for the low strings, but more like "middle" pup for the high strings. Any advantage in this setup over traditional?

also any other leaks of the Bass discussion? any specs?

thanks, keep up the good work

Yep. It means the neck pickup doesn't get shrill sounding past the 17-19th like they normally do. Also captures a part of the string that vibrates more (physically), than if it was the regular neck position and you were playing 19-24th. That means the volume is more even across strings.

There are reasons for everything. :)

Awesome, I starting to see the point, thanks. But In my case that I dont do much solo work and I barely go up that high on the frets?, so for leads lower in the neck (lower than 17th fret), and cleans chord sounds arpeggios etc ? I like to use the bridge as the round low "creamy" sound of it compared to the bridge or middle position.

thanks for the reply :wavey:

also What is the deadline for this run of the TX GTR? thank youu:hbang:

I've been lurking the old mockups in the group and stumbled across this baby from Feb 2015. It's got me excited for the exotic tops.

That would not be an exotic top, that's just swamp ash :)

I'm sure at some stage we will release a natural finish like that.

Any news on when the first exotic run will leave manufacturing so we can see some pics? And yes....I have cravings ;)

Still waiting for the GTR group, so thanks a lot for the info :)
So goddamn excited!! :D

We decided to stop approving new members so that existing clients could easily see updates, rather than new questions all the time. Now run 1 is pretty much here, we have started adding people. Its going to take time, there are 600+ people to filter through and check for spammers.

Really really really dig the headstock of that bass.
I would really like to see it on guitars.
At the moment the headstock with a missing piece really turns me off...considering that imho the headstock is the sexiest part of a guitar.

I'm waiting for that metal explorer xiphos type model to hit GTR production.
