I am sure this has been covered here before but I have not had any luck locating and old thread to answer my question.

Has anyone swapped EMG's for a Lundgren M6?
I am assuming there will be gaps around the pickup routes?

This will be in a newer Ibanez Iron Label 6.

I know BKP sell soap bar sized pickups in order to make the transition easier.

I can't find any evidence that Lundgren does this. Anyone have any tips, tricks, or mean comments?

Thanks!

I wasn't aware there were 6 string EMG soapbars. Can you link the specific guitar?

Those are just standard sized pickups. The only obstacle are the bits of metal on either side of the pickup that might need to be filed a bit. The M6 should fit without much issue.

I swapped out my EMG 81 / 60 set for the Lundgren M6 set and they were a perfect fit in there. No trouble at all. :)
