I like my ALEXI-600 but its become a limiting experience for me.

So...I got to thinking: WHAT can I do to expand the options on this beastie?

First thing in order is going to be adding a SD Hotrail methinks. I was going to put a full size humbucker...but I think the two pickups will wind up being a bit to close together...a single coil pickup will fit a bit better. To accomodate the new pickup I want to add a tone control and a 3-way toggle.

Then I got to thinking..."yaknow...maybe a new finish can pep things up a bit"

SO...a refinish is in order. what change you may ask...well, this CHANGE!

PURPLE MARBLE FTW!:hbang::scream::hbang::scream:

I hit up GMW guitar works as their out of SoCal and waiting to see if they can do it. I have seen some of their guitars and played a custom firebird of theirs before but beyond that...no clue about these guys. You guys have any other suggestions for a refin in SoCal?

If I was you, I would keep the paint job but still ad the Hot Rails

I'm a die-hard Bodom fan, so repainting an Alexi to me is like :scream:

I'm a COB fan too...but no matter how hard you try and make yourself believe ITS NOT ALEXI'S SIGNATURE. it's a modified SV, in my opinion modified for the better. if it was the same dimensions as a rhoads probably would never have bought it. It's like a v500 with a short wing, so its pretty much a full size v. thats why i love it:agreed: baby just needs a little work did:agreed:
