-Ibanez S1625 w/ EMG 81 (B) + 85 (N)

I know I didn't mention a middle pickup but I'm gonna disconnect it and throw in a 3-way switch instead. I prefer to run the Axe-FX to monitors because power amps and cabs color the tone and I just want pure pre-amp tone.

Ah, in that case rock on. I would go for the S5470 over the 2170 though, made in Japan versus Korea/Indonesia.

probably not but i changed it around again to a k-tre, an extremely amp.

Thanks, but no. I have played a JP6/7 and wasn't impressed (non BFR Versions). I don't really want to spend another $3k on a guitar when I can spend a 1/10 on new pickups on my Prestige RG2120x.
