Hey guys,

For anyone who's tried or owns an SE Tremonti, hows the trem on it?

I saw on the website it's got an up-route and wondered if its decent. I'm not after wild Floyd tricks but wondered what it can do?

Cheers!

I think it can get a whole tone up, but it's been a while since I had an SE trem model.

It's a pretty solid trem, never had any major stability issues with it on the SEs I've owned. It can be set up with the arm tight enough to flutter and do a pretty compelling dive. I believe the up-route is Tremonti specific, but normally it's about a whole tone or so upward. For any SE, I would recommend a nut + locking tuner change though.

I've got one so I went to have a look, and the routing is a bit more shallow than I thought. It's also not cut all the way around the trem so if you pull up enough it would hit a lip, but as it's only a few mm deep you won't be doing anything too wild with it. I took a pic which I hope shows it better than I can describe: https://imgur.com/Q88XHWQ
