Probably a stupid question but,

Can they be used as a footswitch for an amp head? EG a 6505+ (Plus)

(If I'm not making sense when I say Pedal Switcher)
((This is also just a reference image, I don't mean this model of switcher specifically))

It's mainly a space saver thing so I'm trying to get get rid of things that could cluster up and get
a more organized pedal board.

Some can, but not all. That one PROBABLY can, but the GCX and Rocktron Patchmate definitely can. For an amp like a 6505, you'll have to get a custom cable (Voodooman is one source) to connect a number of different loops to a single 5(?) pin connector.

I'm still new to all this, I've always had a solid state amp and never thought about new gear, etc. :wallbash:

So how exactly does the midi work on the Peavey 6505+? Is there a tutorial or guide for this, or is it as easy as plug in and its done?
