This is a custom 8-string Reichardt Guitar. The body is book matched Flamed Honduran Mahogany that resonates like a bell. You wont see much more Mahogany like this in the future because it is getting rare! It has some of the most intense flame I have ever seen in this species. The neck is a Quartersawn Paduak neck that has incredible vibration to it when played. You can actually feel the note that you are playing!! And to top everything off, a stripped West African Ebony top paired with an incredible example of Pale Moon Ebony for the fretboard that blows everything out of the water.
Built with contemporary back and front body carves giving extra comfort for the extended nature of the 8-string neck. The pickups chosen for this build are Hand Wound Alnico V Elysian Pickups by Adam Bath. They absolutely crush it by delivering an equal amount of clarity to the high end while not letting the low end fall off. Picking each note and hearing them ring out clearly while not losing definition.
