You wont be able to carve the top because of the control-cavity, to thin there.. you will carve a big hole through your guitar!
You could carve it like an RGD but I advice against carving it like an RGA!

Nice work. I thought about doing this to mine, except with a chamelion outline instead of filling in between the lines. Looks good.

I thought that I wanted to paint my Striker 3000 in the EVH Frankenstein red, white, and black. THOUGHT I did until I started doing it. It was a complete nightmare. I'm sure that this can't be too bad lol. Still, very nice result on yours. I'm somewhat motivated to actually do mine like this now...
