So I have an old Jackson DXMG that I’m trying to trade and someone offered me a Schecter Demon 7 for it. I’m considering it, but pretty sure I’ll want to swap the stock Schecter Diamond Active HB-105S pickups with 707s. I’ve never tried these particular pickups, but never loved anything company name/duncan design, etc. Are they an easy swap with EMGS? Basically is the route and wiring the same? Thanks for any info.

There is little information ln the webs about those pickup specs.

But I found this image which provides some usefull information :

1. They are not quick connect but fixed wire. You will need the EMG with wire and plug, and solder to the existing pots

2. The pots looks like 25K if you zoom in. You may have a chance here to reuse them along with the rest of the electrinics. Only soldering the new emg wire with plug and you should theoretically be good to go
