Signal chain suggestions

Well, here's my dilemma.

I'm about to spend $1,298 on a new amp setup, because I finally decided it was time to build a rack.


I'm going with:

Engl E530 preamp
Crown XLS 202D Power Amplifier
Behringer EURORACK Pro RX1602 Line Mixer
Line 6 POD XT Live
Laney 200W 4x12 cab

What should my signal chain look like?

OR

guitar-ENGL-XTL in fx loop of ENGL- Crown - Cab

what's the line mixer for..?

I was going to use it for iPod samples. For when you can't plug into the system for some reason.

I was also going to use it for a keyboard synth.

then you'd probably run it into the PA, im pretty sure.

I wish the Engl had an FX loop but it doesn't.
