Okay I rock a Schecter Hellraiser C-7, 26.5 scale neck.
my favorite Tuning is drop G, and I'm currently using the Ernie Ball 8-String pack, but I throw out the .064 so it's just (.010/.013/.017/.030/.042/.054/.074)

it works but it just doesn't sound bright enough, what strings do you guys recommend for a bright sounding Drop G?

The sizes are pretty good.

I'd get the same thing but in D'Addario. They're typically a little brighter than Ernie Ball, who has really gone down in the passed years.

Thanks man, What pack do you recommend or do you just buy single strings?

the 10-74 minus the 64 should work great with d'addario, just like you did with ernie ball. If you find that it still is not bright enough, i would start reducing the string gauge on the bass side.
