Hey guys.

I'm interested in hearing some of your favorite riffs of all time. It can be almost anything except Death/Black and please no endless chugging

Personally i think that "Huge Hammers" by Safety Fire is awesome.

But that's just one. I'm excited to hear!

I choose this because I remember when I first heard it I was really young and it kind of blew me away, I had only listened to Nirvana as far as guitar music went at that point so when I heard this it was so alien sounding, it really opened my eyes on how I saw music,I started to see it as a really experimental thing and it encouraged me to seek out more different music.

No black or death metal? How about fuck you? :fawk:

The opening riff is fantastic and the break at 2:49 creates a great sense of tension. I also like the ending riff quite a bit.

I have a hard time choosing. This band has made a ton of great riffs.

First riff, one of my favorites on the entire album.

The closing riffs to All These Feelings by Vildhjarta.

And for something that's been around a bit longer, the middle section riff of The Grand Conjuration by Opeth. I can't help but smile so wide my head almost falls off when I hear that.

There are so many! Like 90% of every thing deftones ever did ... ha ha. But here's one I always liked - simple but very powerful.

The riff at about 0:45 is killer

Right after Randy screams "Our father thy will be done" That riff is menacing.
