Tune-OMAtic-bridge

Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a seven string that has a tune omatic bridge. What I was wondering was if I wanting to change the tuning how do you increase the tension of the string with this type of bridge. I am only used to a floating bridge that has to springs you tights Or loosen to change the height and being new to seven strings I am unsure.

there are screws/hex bolts you can adjust on the bridge for intonation if thats what you mean?

Since the ball end of the string is secured into the body or a stoptail, the only way the string tension is gonna change is with the tuning pegs. Since it's not floating, you can tune freely without worrying about other strings going out of tune.
