Turn combo into head/cab, how to go about it?

hey SSO friends. im quite enjoying my peavey stereo chorus combo. since its really not worth anything ive been thinking it would be cool to turn it into a head and cab. can i easily do this and make it so i can switch between mono and stereo on the head AND ALSO the cab? i really dont know what the h*** im doing lol
- what should i keep in mind?
- what will i need?
any help would be massively appreciated. not too sure about this. thanks
