Quite a lot have happened since last time, and we are now in the final stages:

Awesome cutaway, glowing side dots, 12-20" radius fretboard

Working on the brigde

Backside with matching cover

Sealed (fucking WOW)

It was stained black, sanded down and sprayed with orange/amber.
This is how it turned out, though it wasn't really what we had in mind, so we decided to have another shot at it.
It wasn´t an easy decision, cause I think it looks really classy:
I wish I could have one like this too..

And then

It will be a satin finish.
High gloss would maybe show off more, but I prefer satin both for look and feel.

That Vik guy, he´s pretty awesome isn´t he!!

As usual Vik is making pickups with wooden bobbins.
I have an idea or two for wood choices, but isn´t completely sure yet.
What do you guys think, any suggestions?

Looks great dude. How about some Birdseye maple for the bobbins. Contrasting sizes of grain would be pretty cool.

I don´t know, I haven´t asked.
Vik is swamped with work, just like every other luthier out there, but it shouldn´t be to long now with pretty much just the pickups to be done.
But it´s paid off and I´m ready, that´s for sure.
