Best feeling production 8 I have played yet was a RG2228. I really want to try and get a Carvin DC800, tho.

there's one on my local CL... the price is far too much for me, but i saw pictures and GAS'd SO HARD.. oh well, i'm sure someone will love it properly xD.

I'd say the Taylor or the Robert Conti 8 string B C Rich. I'm not a big fan of 8s, or B C Rich, but look at this thing:

Fav production is hands down the 2228, Fav overall is my Rico 8 (close race, the rico is just SO sweet though). But I have a .strandberg/S7 Boden coming, so we'll see soon enough if those two stand up.
