Yet another DFH/Reaper problem thread...

So after fairly recently figuring out how to use the piano roll in Reaper, i am having a problem programming anything more than four measures.

Namely, if i expand the default midi item (one measure in length) with my mouse, Reaper automatically duplicates whatever I put in the first measure into the second. E.g., i put a kick on the 1 in the first measure, it also puts it on the 1 in the second measure.

Anyone know how to fix this, so that it doesn't duplicate?

Theirs a grey line that you got to drag forward at the point of repetition...it's pretty obvious.

Oh ok, just looked like a measure division or something. I know it was probably a stupid question.

^ I'd disagree with that, it's generally fairly simple, especially compared to Cubase

reaper is amazing bro. if you do drums, theres an option in the midi editor instead of having piano rolls you have drum mapping. its either in the project/regular settings or in the midi editor itslef. good luck
