Well I play in drop a but my favorite strings lately have been labellas. Specifically the 10-64 set.

I haven't really tried that many brands but I'm really comfortable with Elixir .012-.068 with a wound .028 for the D string.

I play in drop A mostly, but if you're into tighter tension it works great for B standard as well

D'addario, because restringing 9 guitars has to stay affordable and I 've been using them since 1994.

But the Greendot gets DR Neons!

I've given a few different brands a try. Dunlop, Ernie Ball, Elixer; I always keep coming back to d'addario, no real reason except I'm comfortable with them. Strictly using 9's these days since I've learned lighten up my picking.

These are amazing. La Bella strings are exactly what I'm looking for. They have the right amount of tension and flex and are exactly where I prefer them to be on the brightness scale. I only tune a half a step down though.

HRS-73 Nickel-Plated Round Wound – 7-String, 10-64

I use daddarios light gauge set of .10-.59 for everything from B to A. I don't get too much tension but I like it.

For a low B, I'd want a .52, .54, or .56, depending on how much high end you want. .54 for a proper Djentlman.
