Youtube has become almost unwatchable with too many advertisements interupting content

after looking into the problem with suggestions from SSO members( thanks all!) it turns out Firefox has an extension for YouTube specifically for in video ads removal. This wasn’t available when I set up my browser but it is now. It seems to work great as no ads interrupted at all when watching a few channels that had become impossible to enjoy. Note: this is a YouTube specific blocker. The other ad blockers I have installed did nothing but this does

i have that. firefox is a little better than safari, safari is really bad. i am talking about in video shilling. some vid ads are relentless.

If you watch YouTube on your TV, pick up an Android box or even a better an nVidia Shield TV and install SmartTube Next which has a built in adblocker and uses AI to detect and skip sponsor segments that content creators edit in as part of their videos.
