I don't remember how many they made, but I do remember them being deep on sale, so they must not have sold too well. There was an EU-based site (I can't remember which one) the had them for a shockingly low price and I think that finally got them to sell out. I very much regret not getting one then. I think they're pretty rare, but also not that many people that want them due to the scale length—which is exactly why I want one so much. Other than MC Universes, this is the main 7 left on my list.
I remember that sale, I wanted to buy another one but all were gone already. I've bought mine on Thomann. They had mine and a yellow one.
It's a limited run of 3 colorus. 100 pieces of each.
I've got also a Les Paul Baritone studio with 28inch scale if I want something bigger ;)

Curious what pups are in the mbol? And do you like the emgs in the hrg?

I have ragnaroks in the MBOL. I don't mind the EMGs. They get the job done, but I'm more into passives personally. I really don't like the look of soapbars however.

We have the same guitars. I'm trying to get into passives though. I put a dimarzio 'New' 7 pair into a s7420 for aesthetic reasons. Also have an SD sh4-7/jazz combo I want to try.

Now I just need a 72 to match. Guess we like the same spot models haha

absolutely!
i talked to the owner of my local shop if he could get a KM-7 and he said: sure!
so he just ordered a hybrid and an artist edition, telling schecter, it was somewhat of an important customer for him (got my first guitar there in 2004) – so i think they might just kept that in mind.
the other two he got after i told him, i want the artist (gor an incredible deal), don't catch my eye that much!

So, you guys must remember my NGD on this one. This guitar (model) was my first 7 stringer I ever played. I used to get out of classes at the end of the day when at college and surf by a local music shop that sold Ibanez guitars and this model was floating there. Some times I'd ask to play it for a bit, then years went by and by the end of 2020 I found this one floating on the local used market for an interesting price tag and I snagged it. She has been played before, quite a bit. Its original pickguard was shattered, so I tried to get a new one and even contacted Perle Guitars for one, but never got any answer... so I decided to make a new one, at a local laser cut shop and it rocked big time. Quality was spot on and price was cheap (about 14€ for the pickguard)... This one here is the 5th pickguard already. I've been messing with how to etch these things. 1st attempt was a clear one, 2nd and 3rd attempts got a first illustration with pyramids, but the 4th and the 5th were those where I knew "this is it": a 3D array of hollowed octohedrons projected with a cylindrical perspective (makes them look curved), all my design. The difference between the 4th and the 5th is that they're about the negative of each other. The 4th had the octohedrons etched and the space between clear, this 5th attempt is the opposite. I'm not yet satisfied with this last iteration. This is a mirrored plexyglass and the engravings are on the top surface, which means that the mirror surface is reflecting everything. That's why it's hard to get decent photos of these. Next iterations I'll engrave the mirror surface and leave the top one clear... will see about that within a couple of years or so, but for now it rocks big time as well.

As for the spaceship controls, well, how else could one navigate the universe? These guitars' cavity is large enough to accommodate several switches, so there I go... The guitar delivers 73 different combinations out of these 5 coils (against the original 5), and I'm already thinking about upgrading this to a lot more, but that circuit design isn't done yet. The main selector switch is a Freeway 5B5-01 and the mini switches control each hum's coils like the Seymour Duncan Tripleshot rings... then, the dish like thing near the volume pot is a touch style (piezo electric) momentary kill switch that works completely silent. This lady has also been submitted to the stainless steel refret surgery and rocks as new avery fucking time.

The pickups are the original Blaze ones, but I rotated the neck humbucker 180º degrees, so I can have the hums' inner or outer coils in hum canceling combinations, which is a tone I do like and get out of all my guitars... specially the inner coils in series tone, it's a hum canceling, humbucker like tone for the middle position that rocks big time without loosing power against the neck or bridge picks alone, it's a super balanced combo, fat but not muddy and bright but not ear piercing. The pots are 1Mega Ohm, both of them.

This thing is so fucking sick, with all the custom covers (great job on the design btw) and the jetfighter controls and switches. I've been slowly developing an interest in clever electronics, particularly without having it look like a a commercial aircraft's cockpit. I like the way you've arranged everything on the pickguard. It's a lot of stuff, but it doesn't jump out at you like those weird ass control layouts in some BC Riches and Mosers.

Just recieved this Vandermeij Magistra FF7. Wow.

Worksmanship is spot on. Beautiful body contours and a very comfortable neck profile. Amazed at how loud it sounds acoustically.

Main complain is ... it took two years :D Was initially quoted a 12 month built, was williing to wait 18 months but 24 months is a stretch. Think I'm done with custom builds for now lol
