Oh yeah? Interesting. 🤔

Like I said unless he's implying something else, it sounds like he wanted to try a headstock shape but Schecter said no for, I'm betting, legal reasons. Unless he meant having to retool a lot of stuff to work with the new shape, but I don't think that would have been an issue?

Dude, what?

This is a signature model. John Browne decided on this headstock, not schecter. In fact, some of the Tao prototypes had different headstocks and John went with this one for production.
I’m not sure what you want to accomplish, but please don’t involve me any further. I was more talking about how we’re paying $1,600 for the guitar and Schecter can’t even get a picture of a half-decent model. Really inspires confidence in one of my favorite brands.

That’s not what you said at all in the post that I was responding to.

Either way, I’m not sure what you want to accomplish but please don’t involve me any further. 😉

You're dumb. Those are shadows in that picture, not mismatched paint.

I think you're misunderstanding that, as there's no way a person doesn't understand light casting shadows; if you look at the picture, the edges of the paint on the blue portion aren't the best, finish just looks a bit rough around the edges before the black, offset/lowered portions.

It's much more defined than my one.

It looks better in real life and I find it very hard to take a picture that does it justice but even with that I don't think the dark in mine is as dark.
Bridge pickup looks like the turtle talisman from elden ring. Is it a reference to something else? What's the neck pup?

Even if I am dumb, they can’t pay some dude $20 on Fiverr to make their $1600 instrument look better in their own promotional image?

I’m not adverse to buying new Schecter (my Aaron Marshall is sick), I’m just surprised at how much we’re letting the industry get away with in terms of quality control. If you might have QC issues, don’t advertise it in the promotion.

And they almost got away with it had it not been for those meddling kids!

Everything cool and sexy, but I've yet to see a single unveiled new model or leak that makes me wanna open my wallet. While there are at least 3 new LTD/E2/ESP/whatever I do want, and the only thing I know about them is that they have strings.

I'm shocked at how aggressive those pickups are. They sound like they're trying to do what the Fluence Moderns are trying to do on voice 1, but much better.
They are definitely aggressive. I think a lot of that aggression can be attributed to a tight low end response and the pushed high-mids. In my video I have 3 high gain 'full humbucker bridge' clips. 1 has an OD on the Neural DSP Archetype Petrucci, the other 2 are using the same amp without the OD, but using 'tight knob' to get that tight sound. That said, I would say most of the sound demos I've seen on youtube represent the pickups quite well.

Without a doubt, the pickups have really impressed me.

Meanwhile in EU the price increase gets funnier

I really think EU importers are really damaging Schecter A LOT
Schecter had been the best bang for the bucks for a long time, now they cost more than equivalent Ibbys
