Ibanez need to stop fucking around and put out a Wes Hauch signature, so I can buy it. I've been staunchly fending off the urge to just get an ICTB721 and refinish it, waiting for something like his first LACS. This new red one looks even doper.
Whatever they do, I need them to announce it so I can decide if I'm going to buy the Hauch guitar or another JP guitar

They need to bring back the AX and AXS and all those other AX spin-offs. Oh and wtf happened to the Ibanez "LP" guitars? Like Artist single cut or something. They just disappeared.

The ARZ series as discontinued in 2018, which coincided with the release of the AZ series. ART was discontinued in 2021.

I would guess that Ibanez felt AZ targets a similar audience, so the lines would have been competing with each other. Or perhaps they simply weren't selling very well in general.

I miss the arz307. Despite the short scale length, it was really fun to play. It deserves to come back as a 27"-28" model.

Currently own an AXS32 and can say the body shape isn’t anything sepcial in terms of comfort, in fact I can’t wait to get rid of it. I think it was an unpopular shape for a reason

A definite “don’t meet your heroes” moment for me

Was 2023 the last year for the AX series? It seems like I see the AX120's everywhere and assumed they were still making them. The one I played was pretty decent and I thought the pickups sounded good.
