Sent back the Dreamcatcher/Rainmaker set, they just didnt sound right with this guitar. Put in Air Norton 7 and Super Distortion 7. Wasn't sure about the SD when I ordered it but it sounds pretty killer.
The Air Norton is killer too. I would like to try an Air Norton in the bridge at somepoint, I think it would sound good there too.

My new (to me) 2014 EBMM JP7. Sorry about the crappy photos, I don't have any great lighting - the lighting in my house is a fairly soft and warm tone which makes photos look dark. I'd use natural light, but we don't get a lot of that at this time of year either.

I also had to attach them as screenshots of the originals as apparently my Samsung phone takes photographs in a file format not supported by this site, which is a new one to me.

Anyway, totally sick guitar. Oozes quality, the quality of the fret ends and the smoothness of the neck makes it a dream to play. I love the pickups too, they have a nice bite to them without being too harsh and spiky.

dude, I have its twin. there aren't a lot of these ( JP7's) with the roasted maple fingerboards. congrats on acquiring one! This photo doesn't show the body's wood grain ( glare) but is there. looks identical. I thought yours was a pick of mine at first! I had to do a double take. hopefully I'll score the matching six string someday. jp7 .png

My first, and only (so far) 7 string
Schecter C-7 Rob Scallon

I don't normally go for signature models...at least not based solely on the artist, but this one kinda checked the boxes for me. I'm a long time Schecter C-1 player, so the body style is familiar. Multi-scale, but the fan fret is very subtle. Hard tail (I'm not a trem guy). Locking tuners. I dig the aesthetics as well...minimalistic fret inlays and the open pore finish on the swamp ash wings with the mahogany stripe down the middle.

This one got a deep cleaning and a setup. Planning on buffing the top glossy whenever I get around to upgrading the pickups. The arm contour is already glossy and really adds depth to the blue and the burl.
Nice one.

My friend has the same came model, and we ended up putting a Fluence brushed nickel set in it. Looks amazing but I did need to extend the radius in the corner of the routes because of the covers.
