Every now and then I browse the ESP custom shop gallery, and I keep thinking "man, those finishes would look spectacular on BCR models". I almost wish they'd pack up and run the whole thing out of ESP's Japan factory. Mind you, I'm not sure how great ESP is doing these days either, but they sure know how to show off their wares.

I want one considering it'll probably be baritone scale but they're pricey as fuck and I just don't know if I'd ever get one. Modern BCR produces phenomenal guitars that are worth the price if you ever get one. The huge level of entry and fact that you probably will never see what you ordered always stops me.

But I do agree. It would go great with my Rizzo stealth. I want one of those ironbird 7s too but fuck if you'd ever see one of those I'd be shocked.

A widow. It looks a whole lot better as a bass, especially a 5 string, held at the right angle. There's a small portion of the BC Rich fanbase that have been crying for an import widow for ages now. I don't foresee them flying off the shelves though.

*edit* Just glancing at their website. This is a rad guitar for an excellent guitarist that you can no longer get since they tanked Iconic, but who the fuck is going to pay $11,000 for it anyway?

It's my understanding that the Rutan 'Birds were still being built by Ron Estrada, and not Iconic.

Nah Ron has been out the BCR fold for a few years now which is a travesty. These were built by Casey who has headed up the Custom Shop for a few years.

You know... because its not confusing enough for the casual fan.

I was just complaining about no stealth w a trem and then boom this drops. Based on the Kahler hybrid this will be ~$2000 usd. But I would also guess $5000 usd because fuck the consumers

Casey came on board with the new management as the CS, Moser doing the old school CS stuff then Iconic a sort of USA production..... BCR Keeping things clear for 50+ years

I don't even like Stealths and that looks hot! I love how old school it looks with the headstock shape, control knob, X2N type pickups.
Is it a funny pale ice blue or is that my monitor/eyes?
