I've just tried out the Artec 70's Drive Blender fuzz + distortion. Don't really like it. It sounds great in demos but it sounds like ass with all my guitars and amps. The fuzz is not very fuzzy. Looking at the TV Electronic Honeypot next.

I use the ZVEX Fat Fuzz Factory. It has got some serious tones in among the crazy glitching options.

I gotta revisit the Ratt and Muff in my gsp1101. Maybe try the HX Stomp too. I been staring at it on my desktop thinking of integrating it into my switching system, but it hurts my brain thinking of routing it pre and post into two different loops and what that entails.

Besides the obvious companies (Dunlop, EHX, Zvex, EQD, MXR, JHS, etc) here’s a few you should look into if you like fuzz:

Deep Trip - they make updated versions of classics like Fuzz Face and Muff. They have powerful low and high EQ controls that allow even a Fuzz Face which is naturally weak in the lows to have punch. They also include bias adjustments to go from full to vintage to splat. They work really well for modern rhythm playing because of the EQ adjustments.

NRG - modern fuzz that goes from gated to splat. Neil is awesome to work with and can mod stuff too.

Formula B - vintage remakes that look killer.

Catalinbread - they nail vintage circuits while also removing some weaknesses like impedance issue. Karma Suture Si Katzenkonig are must have for me. I’ve heard some complaints they’re noisy but I have 3 and none have any noise issues. Might be user error?

SolidgoldFX - great fuzz pedals at great prices. If 6 was 9, Imperial Ml2, Lysis, and Spanish Castle are all winners. Most are classic reissues with modern tweaks. They make a few crazy ones like Lysis.

Isle of Tone - if you have that Bitcoin and Stonks money burning a hole in your Zegna regalia.

Henretta Engineering - their H Bomb fuzz is my fav octave fuzz.

King Tone - killer vintage fuzz face, octavia, and OD for Hendrix and SRV stuff.

Lovepedal 200lbs of Gold - TS into a FF with an optional post boost. Best fuzzstortion I’ve ever used.

Supro Fuzz - killer vintage fuzz that I never bonded with because I didn’t know there were dip switched inside to fix what I didn’t like lol. They only make one fuzz pedal.

Animals Pedals - very affordable MIJ clones of other pedals with killer artwork IMO.

EQD Park Fuzz Sound - reissue of a 70s Ge Tone Bender but that has way more gain. Way overlooked IMO.

Fuzzrocious - if you like it nasty. Also have normal fuzz pedals like the Lil Fella which is a nice Fuzzstortion. I have an Electric Ocean Fuzz-Phaser (Roland Jet Phaser lineage) in my CME cart now lol.

Redwitch Fuzz God - 4 versions. The 4th is nutty. Has an added oscillator. Watch the demo. Bonkers! Also has 8 dip switches so 256 diff settings!

ThroBak Fuzz Haze - they make killer super high grade copies of Tone Benders and Fuzz Face.

Fjord Fuzz - supposedly some new takes on fuzz. One is an octave fuzz (Odin) other is a wall of fuzz. Andertons has a great demo.

ThorpyFX - the best built quietest fuzz ive heard or own. The Muffroom Cloud (has another name now IIRC) is a muff but you can control high/low so it’s not your typical muff wall of sound. Absolutely singing for leads like Gilmour or you can do thumping Smashing Pumpkins wall of muff if you want.

Vick Audio - another super affordable maker of vintage reissues. Have every version of the Muff and FF you could want.

SviSound (Mark Svi) - Bulgarian company that makes a lot of Steam Punk looking stuff. He’ll make custom anything you can imagine. And he has a lot of designs.

Death by Audio - batshit crazy fuzz shit! Insanity.

Beetronics - modern takes. Octahive is their octave fuzzstortion. The Royal Jelly is the only one I’ve played and I’ll prob buy one sooner than later. 2 channel with a ton of good tones.

Jackson Audio - I want to try the modular fuzz. Great concept and demos look good.

DeviEver - if you hate yourself.

Dammit I forgot Mike Rainger and RaingerFX. More twisted fuzz designs.

Have we discussed the Orange Fur Coat? I'm interested.

Tried and almost bought one several months ago. Was A/Bing against MXR Slash and the Henretta and ended up buying the Henretta at the time.

I wound up getting another of the mini fuzz faces. The Hendrix one was not gainy enough and needed to be boosted. I got the FFM1 now which is the blue one. They are both silicon BC108s but for some reason the FFM1 is way more gainy than the FFM3. I really like this one a lot better. It gets the sound I want without needing something pushing it.

Also, anyone noticed the knobs have luminous markings? I turned out the light to go to bed the other night and noticed some green lines where my fuzz face was sitting. I never noticed it before. Nice touch.

I love my fuzzes, a lot of my newer stuff is all helix but I always have two channels, some sort of fuzz into a small combo and something tighter and chunky like a revv. Then I just blend to get the grit or texture I’m looking for, which typically is heavy on the fuzz

On the contrary, I fucking hate fuzz

To be fair, it's not for lack of trying. I keep buying them and I keep hating them. They make my guitar sound like it's playing through the cheapest and worst amp possible 😭
