BTW, here is a better priced example of a 1989 Carvin, even though it's bright pink. This is from early 1989, when Carvin was still using the Jackson-style headstock. I know this seller, by the way, and he's a great guy to deal with.
Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I recognize that one from a current eBay auction. That's a DC200 that was made between late 1989 and 1991, based on the headstock and the features. The listing incorrectly identifies it as a DC400--those all had flamed maple tops back then. That's a very nice guitar, but also very overpriced at $800. I wouldn't pay more than about $500 for one of those.
