I've owned a Skervesen and now I have a Regius 6. If you have the money, definitely go for the Mayones, however if you prefer insane tops/wood combinations go for Skervesen because Mayones charges pretty high for changes in wood/tops. Skervesen also includes luminlays/BKPs/stainless steel frets...

e/ like the others said, in terms of feel ans setup, try to get it parallel but it doesn't need to be exact since there's no springs.

my Regius is 21-23mm, although they're now thinning it down to 20.5-21.5mm. I was expecting a baseball bat neck like old Schecters before I received it, but it actually feels really thin and comfortable when playing despite the measurements.

i'd go with at least a 26.5" scale. Doesn't feel that different from 25.5 in terms on playability, but you can definitely feel the added tension. Even 27" would be good.
