I had two armageddon's and they each had their own problems. The first one the fan stopped working shortly after getting it. The 2nd one the FX loop went out at a show. As good as they sound I couldn't deal with that kind of unreliability at shows.
I had an Armageddon. I thought it sounded absolutely crushing and was feature packed. I've owned so many amps including engl, revv, ksr, mesa, peavey, bogner etc and I thought the Armageddon sounded just as good as any of them.
I just googled the teleport. So it functions as a converter from a laptop to a power amp? How did you switch between different presets when the teleport only has one button?
The Quad Cortex is overkill for me and probably many other people. Over the last couple years I've acquired multiple Neural software suite plugins. All I want is to be able to create the patches in the desktop standalone and then port them into a floorboard so I can finally use them live by...
My band, Common Choir. Two new videos we just released, and are dropping the album tomorrow, February 24th across all streaming platforms. Hope you dig it.
Looks great. I spoke to them about a 27 scale on the solo and they said they didn't want to do it because there'd be too much neck dive. have you noticed that at all?
I absolutely hated the fishman merrow pickups. A/B'd them with a Black Winter 7 and it was absolutely amazing how much better the BW was in pretty much every regard. It'd take an awful lot of faith on my end to try the Carpenter set.
As much as I don't love Jeff Kiesel and some of his goons, if you get a good specimen and don't overspec it, you're getting a GREAT guitar for the money.
I've played a fair amount of speakers and to me, for low tuned high gain sounds, the V30 is just better than anything else in a band mix. I could see why some would prefer a flatter, less spikey sound when playing alone, though.
I had the TC-50 and thought it sounded incredible. I did, however, find it lacked low end and in the band mix where my other guitarist runs a 120 watt head, I was getting overpowered. I would love to give the TC-100 a spin.
