Illuminator is a perfect dimarzio pickup to me . adds a lot of highs but still maintain the overall balance and it still sounds beautiful , and it's soooo tight. further more, its split coil sound is good , too.
I have a 30" 6 string. a bass vi copy from jackson guitar company. I simply use EB 1256 B std tuning on it, which to me is very good. I like the voicing of a baritone guitar , more huge sounding, more tough, more defi

anybody feel the same way that longer scale guitar's top end always feels a little bit harsh/edgy kinda thing? . I like the baritone guitar's tightness , clarity, to me that's the holy grail for metal .
but anybody ever thought about eliminating the harsh top end ? if does, what's your way...

though it's 29.4 , but still , welcome to the 30" area man !
you'lll feel familiar with brass parts , that's classic choice for music.
titanium , man , that's my holy grail , like a super transparent clean boost to your guitar,
huge improvement to the vibration , with crystal & no harsh top end and a huge improved bottom end that steel will never...
I don't know exactly what do you mean "snap" here .

mayones actually is a swamp ash + maple neck thru kind of style sounding.
I guess your jp is the basswood one .
generally mahogany body guitar have slower attack , maybe that's...
