Haha, I totally understand. I remember when I sent out the first custom I made for someone I was really worried that it would like, explode in transit or something.

Here's an idea: I/we could drive to meet up and just exchange it. North Hollywood to Goleta where I live is about 100 mi according to google maps, which in my car would amount to about $30 for one round trip so it's not killer. Plus, I have some friends from Nekrogoblikon (freaking awesome band by the way if you ever get a chance to see or listen to them) in Pasadena that I could visit while I'm down there.

So, I normally charge $300 for a standard refret, or $340 if you have fretboard binding. The frets in that picture also had the ends balled, which isn't really necessary and I would charge an extra $60 for it. Also, since you'd probably have to ship the guitar to me and that would cost you more than going to a local luthier, feel free to make me an offer.

If you're curious about my fret wire, the stuff I've been getting has a crown height of 0.055" and is 0.110" wide, which from what information I can find is Jumbo or even a little bigger. I like it a lot. It's the last (and biggest) on the chart from this place: Fret Wire
