Good idea, golden hex nuts would be enough for me, and much cheaper =).
Is the Sure Claw plainly an alternative to the wood screws? What's the benefit? EDIT: do you just loosen the nut with bridge leveled/locked and then tighten and it's in correct position?

My 2000's MIJ collection. Got the Bond last week. Black Winters and EMG 57. Bond has Blackout that I already bought a BW for. WTB one with yellow bevels still.
Doubt it's wiring.
I just remembered same thing happened with EMG 57/66 set in another Solar with Evertune. Similar thinness issues. Through some gear it's more noticeable than other. Both pickups I have in multiple guitars.
Are Black Winters not very suitable for Evertune guitars or is this just coincidence?
I have several guitars with BWs but the ones with Evertune, the BWs sound too shrill/trebly and lack body.
I don't have enough data to back this up but so far it seems the case. Anyone else noticed the same?
