New Synergy module - April 17th

Ok, synergy's green 6505 compared to the synergy SLO: the lean low end is similar, but surprisingly, the green 6505 is more hollow and jangly, whereas the SLO has these sweet full mids. I hardly dial up the green 6505 as I'd prefer a more marshally sound for that lo mid gain thing or 6505 red if...

New Synergy module - April 17th

6505 and SLO are in the same ballpark. 6505 is like the actual amp in that it has this abrasive sizzle in the high end. You could dial it out with some surgical para eq, but the weird thing is is that ugly raspness is part of the overall magic when you put it into a mix. It also has that bloated...

New Synergy module - April 17th

I have the synergy SLO and 6505. They are different enough to warrant both. I'll have the DRect soon too so I am sure my playing will consist of constant a/b/c ing them lol

New Synergy module - April 17th

I think this is what others refer to as being a Pedal Karen. Not me, other people. I am sure your guitar> amp tone is pure and glorious

Could anyone replace Warrel Dane ?

I saw the last Sanctuary tour. That disc was awesome, but if you listen to it the primary vocals are low and in the background you could hear the hi harmonies. Live that night he often went high. Dude is awesome. Someone needs to unlock Loomis, he may be my favorite but miss when he was the...

How many guitars is too many?

6 & 7 string models, different types (LP, strat, etc), different tunings, duplicates on the most popular tuning, several acoustics, 4 & 5 string basses, a fretless or 2 Then my wife and 2 kids like to play too so they all have 1-2 each It adds up fast!

For Those Who are Younger, How Relevant is Metallica?

lol at the 30 and 40 year olds who are posting thinking this thread is for them Ola said they were for old people...even though that guy has to be pushing 40, no? I guess Metallica is elevator music now, definitely can put the unforgivens on the elevator. Less than the riffs and songs, the...

    Any Fortin Cali owners?

I just scored the new Black version. I spent just a little bit of time with it and tested a quad tracked mix last night: But today I plugged in the channel switcher so I could access ch2....holy crap- that is my sound, totally on a honeymoon! The clip last night was ch1, which has a bright cap...

Anyone used this speaker (Eminence Legend V12)

I used and loved the Legends for years! But then the oddest thing happened, one day I heard something in there that I didn't like, couldn't not hear it, then went back to v30s. Weird because I played live and recorded with those legends for like 8 years but then fell out of love and disliked...

NGD - Sun Valley With Some Black Limba

I've been eyeballing the svss guitars for awhile now. The nut width is slimmer than others and really speaks to me. My 9 year old thinks the red lava is all me lol

Mostly Drop C I really enjoy my 7 in drop D with an added drop (7) G Also 7 in dropA, sometime standard B Standard E works well for practicing and playing with general population Drop C# is always awesome and hoping to move any of these tunings down to 432 soon Pretty much any tuning is...

    Matrix Resurrections....

I watched the new one on a plane trip. It's free from Southwest yet I still feel ripped off. Parts 2 3 and now this one all have something in common- I hate them yet I still watch through to the end lol. These Wachoskiees have been exposed- the first is brilliant but 100% plagiarized frame by...

If you look at the way you spend your time and you're sad, well I think that is telling you something. No one is forcing you to play video games and drink beer.
