    NGD: Solar SB1.6FOB

I wanted to try a guitar with Evertune and got this one from Solar Guitars. It feels and sounds great, quality control is exceptional in case of this particular guitar. Evertune has little bit spongy feel like some floating bridges can have, but I don't mind that. System isn't too complicated...

    NGD: Ibanez RG752LWFX-AGB

I was having a gas for an Ibanez and saw this on local used guitars site, so I got it for kind of early 30th birthday gift to myself. This is quite low key classy looking guitar and looks don't scream "metal" too much, which I like sometimes. Body is made of basswood with limba veneer and there...

    NGD: Solar Guitars AB1.6HTPB

This thing arrived today! I just couldn't resist the combination of bright color and roasted maple fretboard/neck. Immediately gave it a quick setup for my liking with new strings. Swamp ash body is nice and light, everything feels pretty solid. Stainless steel frets are well rounded and one...

DiMarzio Tone Zone Replacement - Ibanez RGR652

Another pickup thread for overthinking pickups... doesn't work too well with low tunings and this guitar has kind of deep lows (ash body, fixed bridge, bolt-on neck) in itself and Tone Zone having lots of low mids just makes it messy and flubby. I think there is snappiness and lots of highs too...

    Your musical guilty pleasures

The title says it all, reveal them. I know most people here listen to some sort of metal, including myself. Mine are mostly: - 80's pop - Some modern pop artists - Early 90's rap music - 70's prog rock - Synthwave - Or some hits through the 90's - Female fronted metal bands

    NGD: Solar A2.6TBLM

Another Solar! First impressions about this guitar were convincing, great guitar for this price. Nothing bad to say about fretwork, fit or finish, overall feel is very solid. I'm used to thinner neck profiles, but this feels comfy and playable. Action is low when I got it set up for my needs...

    Shadow Of Intent - Reclaimer

If you're into bands like Carnifex, Thy Art Is Murder, Infant Annihilator, and Ovid's Withering, then check this out. Must be one of the best deathcore albums in this year.

    Recording lead/solo guitars?

Hi folks! I've got couple of questions about this subject and the best possible recording methods. One mono track and widening it with stereo effects is easiest way to get these to sound decent? Some people double this one mono track and make some milliseconds of timing difference in them to...

    NGD: Ibanez RG652KFX-KB

Sold my two indonesian made Ibanez's and got this beauty instead, and I won't regret it. DiMarzio Tone Zone is a bit too muddy for my taste and Air Norton is too low output. Otherwise than that guitar is amazing for the guy who has never owned a Japanese made ibby. Back to the pickups, thinking...
