holy shit this thread is still stickied. this was the thread that prompted me to start working out 2 years ago and looking at my original post in this thread I can't believe I was that light. In 2 years, I've gained 17kg, done without supplements although i've started taking creatine since the...
I've got a cheapy palm sander on loan from a friend - says he bought it for 6 quid lol. >_>
That's ductape, to prevent the frets getting fizucked up.
I got a bogus essay to write these next weeks and once school starts i'll be consumated by evil work and sports soon. :(
A year ago I posted this: http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/standard-guitars/52004-a-thread-about-my-guitar-56k-maybe.html
Yeah, a year on, it looks like this:
Fuck, I knew I should've known I would've never finished this project and honestly with myself spending less time on the...
It sounds very Scandinavian lol. I went to Swedenland, not far off Gothenburg where Mattias is from, everyone sounded very Eklundish. :D
In other news, Mattias Eklundh is so good, one of my favourite guitarists. His solo stuff is the bomb, but I don't really like Freak Kitchen so much. It's...
Excellent, thanks so much guys! This is great because I already am familiar with Monk and some Ornette Coleman and I have a Mingus album waiting to be listened to.
The paper's title is actually "To What Extent has Jazz Influenced 1960s-1970s Progressive Rock?" I picked a very open question so I...

That's about it, tbh - most of the other stuff which I can't stand has already been mentioned. I actually don't mind shit like the...
Hi all, long time no talk, haven't been on the org for ages. @_@
Anyway, I need your guys help, I have to write a 4000 word paper on the influence jazz had on 70s progressive rock (yes, during fucking summer :wallbash:). In particular King Crimson and their bebop influence. Sooo...
Does anyone...
Once when I was in 9th grade biology, we watched a video on obesity that featured a bunch of aquafitters. I remember my swimmer friend saying "lazy fucks" fairly loudly in class.
I disagree, I think Soilwork's latest stuff is pretty metalcore and LoG might be fairly technical but therer's still a lot of metalcore influence in there.
Also, +1 on The Human Abstract. Nocturne is a great album, really technical playing along with some catchy shit.
Katy Perry is awesome, I have her album haha. She looks like Zoey Deschanel, when I was watching Weeds, I swore it was her, only to have wikipedia prove me wrong. :(
Snoop Dogg is mad as well although I think the stuff he did with Dre and Doggystyle was the best.
