    What’s funny is EVH admitted that when he hacked up his explorer for this it ruined the sound, now he’s making it an off the shelf model for people to buy. Think he’s lining his pockets now. Hopefully he releases more amps as that’s been a very strong line for his brand.

    FWIW and IMO their recorded performance at Fresno back in ‘79 for the second world tour of their second album is fantastic. It really captures the energy in the air, alas it’s not filmed tho.
