    This can also be done with GMajor 2 as well, and for alot cheaper than a G-System. Just need to add a midi foot controller.

    Have a look at the GMajor 2. It has killdry and very good effects(and more of them) for about the same price. I knew I would end up spending way more than $500 on multiple effects units and that was the reason I went for the GMajor 2.

    Programming the GCX and GCP together with all my gear was dead easy. With that said, if you were combining a pedal board from a different company than the switcher, I could see it being a little more "involved".

    Complete win foresure man! When I re tubed, I had just bought the amp, a maxon od808 and a decimator......I had no choice but to go with the value pack. Im happy with that pack, but would definitely like to upgrade on my next retube. :hbang:

    You could do either. Having them on the floor will mean you have a bunch of cables going to and from the GCX.(2 per pedal) A snake of some sort would help tame the cable mess, but I prefer to have it all in the rack with one cable out to my GCP.
