I was comparing this guitar with Schecter Platinum Solo II. They have the same spec except for Tonewood and Pickups. EMG 57/66 and Mahogany on the Platinum, on the other hand Duncan Blackouts and Swamp ash on the Blackjack ATX.

I finally made my decision and took home the Blackjack ATX. I really wanted to love the platinum series (due to EMG 57/66), but the fret job was abysmal. They stick out like crazy. When I compare them side by side, seems like the blackjack atx fret ends...
I am a firm believer of tonewoods do matters. Otherwise every guitar will sound the same unplugged.
I am more lenient towards SOLO II Platinum. It's a les paul shape guitar, I reckon it will give me a better les paul sound/tone with mahogany and solid maple cap rather than swamp ash. Especially...

Received mine last month. The delivery date was pretty on schedule, no delay.
The built quality was ok, The cable jacks are loose in both pedals. Wished that the switch is not clicky type. Prefer my Bogner blue ecstasy type of foot switch.
The sound quality is great. Does as its advertised...
